Summary

I'm KOTA MATUNAGA.
I work in DEPED, Division of ILOILO.


The subtitle of the workshop was a "Smile".

We wanted to make teacher's smile and pupil/student's smile.

I think teacher's smile makes pupil/student's smile. 

I think we could acｈieve this purpose.

 

As the reflection, I think our handout is not so effective.

Next time, I'd like to improve it more usefully.

This workshop is a pass point.

I'd like to have such seminar with the teacher of the Philippines in each district.

Math supervisor, Mr Kim already cooperated with us during our workshop.

It's good example.

I was really happy, because a plenty of philippinas support us this time.

We can not do anything, if nobody helped us.

I'd like to proceed next stage with our cooperators.

Dear Philippine teachers, I need your help.

I hope we will cooperate together next time.

Day5 of Iloilo SAMURAI6 Workshop

I am Kiyohide Ueda.
I am working at Lopez West Elementary School, Lopez, Quezon.
We finished workshop in four days.
We compile many questionnaires.

Before compiling many qurstionnaires, Mr. Homma have a breakfast.

Roll allotment of Day5.
There is that we have to do it a lot.

We are compiling many questionnaires.
But Mr.Hakamada had a feever and a stomachache.
Maybe, he made powerful demonstration lessons and science shows until the previous day.
We were fired up.
Mr. Taguchi is drinking a MISO SOUP.

I prepared it.
Of course, I am compiling many questionnaries, too.
But, there is not the picture which I appear in.

It is very difficult for us to compile the questionnaire.
Why?

It is difficult for us to decode the flowing script.
I have a lot of flowing scripts which I can't decode.
Each of SAMURAI6 are compiling them at their assigned place, now.

Day4 of Iloilo samurai6 workshop

Day4. Iloilo.


I'm Daisuke Homma and working at DepEd Division of Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
I'm in charge of the story of Day4 of Iloilo samurai6 workshop.


'DAY 4' was held in DepEd division of Iloilo province again.
We, all members of Smurai6 was too spunky because this day was the last workshop for us in Iloilo.

We got an energy from Samurai drink.

What was a message of SAMURAI6 through these workshops?

Ultimately I think the answer is just "SMILE".

Children are studying and teachers strain for a day which is flooded with pleasure of learning....

We hope that our suggestion,"BAGONG Rules" & "Howv to treat slow learners" will help you.

However we often forget such basic terms in our hard works.

Day3 of Iloilo samurai6 workshop

I am Toshiyuki Taguchui and working at DepEd Division of Bais City, Negros Oriental
I am in charge of the story of Day3 of Iloilo samurai6 workshop.

Participants of the workshop were teachers.

The venue was Pavia Pilot Elementary School.

It takes twenty minutes to get there from Iloilo city.

Bulletin board at the gate had the contents that the school welcome us.

We were thrilled at the matter.

Pupils danced at opening ceremony and this dance was very nice and beautiful.

Mr. Matsunaga did science demonstration and Mr. Homma did math one this time.

Our Oscaｒ-actor , Mr. Hiro Hakamada, joined the demonstration and he pumped up the demo by using his nice action.

I think that the teachers enjoyed the demonstration.

Mr. Homma taught the are of a trapezoid.

He did demonstration with good operation checking and nice board writing.

In addition, we conducted science show and perticipants joined the show.

Teachers could experience a lot of wonderful science phenomena and enjoyed.

Interesting science phenomena attracts both of adults and children.


Many pupils who finished their class peered inside of class room with smiles

Public speaker of seminar in the Philippines talk at participants in most situation.
Participants will be bored.

However, our workshop doesn't give time to the participants.
Why, because they think questions, join demo lessons and write our suggestions.


So audience can keep smiles!!


We don't use special skill and magic stick for attracting audiences.

We use only basic skill, for example, good visual aids, nice follow and so on.

This skill is available for our daily classes.

We hope that Filipino teacher entertain our ideas and suggestions.

DAY 2 of Iloilo work shop

This diary is relay diary about 'ILOILO Work Shop' that is brouht you by SAMURAI 6.
'Relay SAMURAI'.

It would be presumptuous of me to bring the state of 'DAY 2'.
'The Appearance of Unpopular Korean Star ', TETSUHIRO TAKIMOTO is gonna bring u about 'DAY 2'.

'DAY 2' was held in DEPED, division of Iloilo.
The target participants were the district supervisors, the principals of centaral schools and the science and math coordinators in Division of Iloilo (The half of 52 districts.). 

The atmosphere was so tense, that's why I stuttered during my greetings...

However, we are also professional teachers, so we performed with our spirits even in our joking.
We invest our soul in this project all the more and we face with considerable preparation. 

Our wish might come, the Philipino teachers were getting to smile (That is the theme in this work shop) and they participated highly motivated.

 At the last, a participant showed her notebook that she wrote eagerly with her smile.

 

According to the questionnar, over 95% participants think 'I want to attend this work shop again.', or 'I would like to show these science shows to my pupils.'.

  In addition, we had the interview by GMA.
