SAMURAI6 WORKSHOP DAY4 : Evaluation Meeting

This page's Editor is Toshiyuki Taguchi.

We always had meeting after our seminar-workshop's finishing, because Our workshop wasn't perfect and we need blush up our the contents or flow of our workshop. In addition, we discuss for a long time.

We discussed about the good point and improvement of the workshop. We focus on the the program of Day2, because the session is new session we tried. Each SAMURAI6 member handled own major subject and two participants demonstrated their class.

We thought that it was better supervisors monitored our session, because participants could keep their tension and the supervisor properly suggest their thinking during our sessions.

We discussed from 9am to 12am and we summed up the contents of our workshop.

Daisuke Homma, Host of the workshop, will describe the result of our discussion at next page.

After discussing, we became so hungry that we went to cafe and ate a lot of delicious food.

After lunch we went to DepEd office and talked with supervisors about our seminar - workshop. The supervisors evaluated our workshop so well. Because our workshop was so simple and very easy to understand for participants and teachers. In addition, our strategy is so clear that teachers can apply to their daily classes.

When we discussed, the supervisor from other districts came and they requested us to come and conduct SAMURAI6 workshop again for their districts' teachers. The supervisors from tagbilaran city division also requested us to do again for new teachers before starting new semester.

When we heard their talking we were so happy, because we thought they could understand and entertain our strategy then they offer to us that.

We are acting for not only our place that we assign but also Philippines. Our wish is all teacher in the Philippines can improve as good teachers.

We can come any place if some request to come and to request our help.

Tagbilaran Seminar Day 3

2、 Good skills for Slow learners

There are 4 types of slow learner. One student has a difficulty of expressing, another one has a difficulty of reading, another one has a difficulty of listening and last one has a difficulty of concentrating. We will show two example class scenes.
Mr Daisuke Homma demonstrated the example of no-good teacher.
One of Supervisor  demonstarated the example of good teacher.

3.Learning Environment
Using the Broken Windows Theory etc... teachers discussed about Learning Environment.

Teachers applied BAGONG RULE on their teaching skills.
On the other hands, a lot of teachers still think "No material is No teaching.".
For example,on the discussing about "learning environment" one teacher said "Our classrooms are very old."
It is one of problem of materials.
But we can improve them using our innovation.
Please think to apply daily necessaries or the neighborhood on your teaching skills.

We hope teachers apply BAGONG RULE on their daily lessons..
Mr Daisuke Homma continued monitoring their lessons in Tagbilaran City Division.

Any way, Mr Shinichi Masuda(Vice-Chief of JICA Philippines), Ms. Shinya Tamao (Volunteer coordinator of JICA Philippines) came there. Thank you very much for visiting our seminar.

Tagbilaran Seminar Day 2

This is TETSUHIRO TAKIMOTO reported.

It's been a day!!!!!
That was my honest impresson regarding such a brilliant and brisk day!!!

That day's program was subcommitte style mainly.
(Ele Sci : MATSUNAGA, Ele Mat : HAKAMADA, TAKIMOTO, Sec Sci : TAGUCHI, Sec Mat : HOMMA)
Anent to this, the main program was that making the lesson plan what was focused on BAGONG Rules, implementing the demo lesson by honorable Philipino teachers, and the demo lesson toward real Philipino kids by SAMURAI6.

We used the reflection in BAIS Seminar to advantage, we took more time and more courteously for the orientation as subcommitee style  in order that Philipino teachers are easy to focuns on BAGONG Rules.

How effective that!!!
.....Hopefully....
The Philipino teachers were so eagarly to prepare thier lesson plans and they could make that the demo lessons were really concentrated on BAGONG Rules.

Particularly, the elementary math demo that was taken charge of me was so focused on BAGONG Rules and nearly perfect demo!!!!!

I was so impressed that the teacers in Tagbilaran City were awesome swift absorption competence and  tremendous application faculty!!!

I aspire that they will keep up thier lusitrous work and conduct to thier honorable fellows!!

Thus....

IT'S BEEN A DAY!!!!!

DAGUHANG SALAMAT!!!!!

To be continued.......
